Harbor Compliance is building the next generation of its compliance platform and seeks engineers who move across languages, work with AI agents, and care about correctness. You’ll design systems in Go and TypeScript with modern front ends, shipping features that reach tens of thousands of organizations from day one.
You’ll own parts of the platform from design to production, participate in API growth, and help shape how AI tools are integrated, tested, and evaluated while mentoring teammates.
Compliance is one of the last great unautomated problems in business: thousands of jurisdictions, real deadlines, real legal consequences. We have the data, the customers, and the domain expertise to automate it, and we’re building the next generation of our platform to do exactly that.
We’re looking for engineers who move fluidly across languages and stacks, build alongside AI agents every day, and care deeply about getting things right. You’ll design new systems with a lot of room to shape how they’re built, and your work will reach tens of thousands of organizations from day one.
We interview the way we work, with AI tools welcome : an intro call, a live paired build using your own setup, a conversation about how you approach real-world code, and a design discussion about a short spec you write beforehand. No algorithm puzzles, and no unpaid multi-day take-homes.
Harbor Compliance is committed to providing any reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities within our application and interview process. To request an accommodation due to a disability, please inform your recruiter.
Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement.
Harbor Compliance is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.
Harbor Compliance uses third-party automated tools and skills assessments (such as Testlify and Rippling) to help evaluate job applications and streamline our hiring workflow. These tools assist our recruitment team in reviewing qualification trends and scheduling, but all final employment decisions are made solely by humans on our Talent Success team, and all tools are subject to human oversight.
Depending on your location, local laws may grant you specific disclosure rights or the option to request an alternative evaluation process. If you require a reasonable accommodation or wish to opt out of automated assessment steps due to regional regulations, please notify your recruiter. Opting out will not negatively impact your application.
