Ripple is hiring for a software engineering role focused on building scalable compliance systems. You will design, implement, and deploy backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet reliability and security standards.

Qualifications include 3+ years in Java with Spring, experience with messaging streams, and modern persistence technologies (Aurora/DynamoDB). Remote/hybrid work is available with CA salary range disclosed.

• 3 years of experience with Messaging Stream Solutions.
• 3 years of experience with modern persistence technologies in payments, banking, e-commerce domains (Aurora or DynamoDB).
• 3 years of experience with at least one frontend framework: Node Js, React JS, Angular Js.
• 3 years of experience with Typescript, Golang, Scala, Rust, or Python.
• 3 years of experience building cloud applications on AWS, with Docker or Kubernetes.
• 3 years of experience using Agile development of distributed services.

Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance compliance systems (software) that support business objectives, leveraging ourcryptocurrency fintech products to deliver innovative customer experiences. Drive the full software development lifecycle,including capturing and analyzing requirements (user needs, software requirements, and performance requirements). Applysound design principles to robust software. Perform unit and integration testing. Design, deploy, and continuously improvebackend applications, in collaboration with wider Ripple cross-functional technical teams. Implement and drive coding, testing,and deployment processes at Ripple, raising these processes to Ripple’s engineering excellence standards.

Telecommuting permitted up to 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate software development experience.

Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of software development experience.

Must have 3 years of experience coding in Java with Spring or Spring Boot Framework.

Must have 3 years of experience with Messaging Stream Solutions.

Must have 3 years of experience in building systems backed by modern persistence technologies in payments, banking, e-commerce domains, backed by Aurora or DynamoDB.

Must have 3 years of experience working with at least one of the following web frontend frameworks:

• Node Js,
• React JS,
• Angular Js

Must have 3 years of experience with Typescript, Golang, Scala, Rust, or Python.

Must have 3 years of experience building cloud applications on AWS, and technologies using Docker or Kubernetes.

Must have 3 years of experience using Agile development of distributed services, with a focus on robust software design, scalability and security

For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.

CA Annual Base Salary Range

$200,340 — $200,540 USD
