Seekr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help grow our AI-powered platform. You’ll work with a smart team of ML scientists and software developers to build scalable, reliable applications and tools for Seekr’s AI products, agents, and tooling.

You’ll collaborate closely with Backend and DevOps to ship production-ready features, mentor teammates, and shape engineering best practices. This role supports a hybrid work model with offices in Reston, VA and Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering on large-scale distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge in Python, Postgres, RESTful API design, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, testing, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-quality, production-ready features.
• Provide empathetic leadership and mentorship.
• Drive sound technical decisions and engineering best practices.

You'll have the opportunity to have an outsized impact from the beginning, and to work with other members of the team to ensure the architecture is scalable and reliable. You'll work closely with other members of our Engineering Team to refine our applications, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and built to last.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers to ship high-quality, production-ready features

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering supporting large-scale distributed systems.


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.

• Experience effectively utilizing AI technologies and tools (e.g., large language models, agents, etc.) to enhance workflows
