Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an experienced software engineer to help design, build, and scale AI-driven infrastructure and governance for GenAI solutions. You will collaborate across teams, mentor others, and translate complex requirements into robust software designs that power cutting-edge products.

In the AI Infrastructure and Governance team, you will ensure reliable model capacity, governance oversight, and secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of AI systems/vendors, models, capacity planning and provisioning.
• Strong understanding of AI governance and security best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques and data modeling principles.
• Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams while mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.
• Effectively support GenAI development teams, manage model capacity, and maintain governance oversight.
• Complete complex bug fixes.
• Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Resolve complex technical issues as necessary.

About The Role

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
