Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the APD squad within Claims Predictive Modeling. The role focuses on deploying predictive and GenAI models as production services, building robust integrations, and owning production health across microservices.

You will work in a hybrid environment requiring two days in the office weekly at locations including Portsmouth, NH, Boston, or Plano, with global collaboration across data science and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for microservice development.
• Experience building on AWS with Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and RDS/MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Deploy models as production microservices with data scientists.
• Build and maintain event-driven integrations between predictive services and claims platforms.

Data science owns model development and prompt engineering; Our team owns the deployed environments, the integration architecture, and the production health of everything that ships.
