The Senior Java Developer will build on their passion for software engineering and combine with skills for operational excellence to enhance & manage platforms. Along with willingness to take an active role in their career trajectory; the Senior Java Developer tasked with working with product owners to understand business requirements, integrating architectural direction into designs and producing comprehensive functional/technical code for platforms and applications.

This position is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to residewithin a commutable distance of this location.

• Design and deliver solutions thatleverageRDBMS and NoSQL Databases, Container Orchestration Services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.


• Experience with designing and building event driven systems for asynchronous communication between systems and components


• Contribute to team development including recruiting efforts, mentorship, and promoting Agile best practices.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with5or more years of experienceintechnicaldiscipline, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, and information technology.


• Intermediate to advanced programming skills in one or more modern languages such asJava, Spring Boot,Nodejs, ReactJS, TypeScript, Java or Python to design, develop andmaintaincustomer experienceson AWS cloud platform.


• Proventrack recorddelivering Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment.


• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills


• Skilled at delivering high-quality, clean, and reusable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD), object-oriented design, and testing for responsive web applications.


• Strongproficiencyin developing scalable and resilient RESTmicroservicesAPIs.


• Experience building software using design patterns, best practices, and coding standards.


• Demonstrated experience with version control practices, including branching, merging, and code review processes.


• Experience building observable systems to track the performance of distributed services, trace issues, and troubleshoot failures.


• Conduct peer/codereviewstomaintainthe codequality beforepromoting the code to production.
