Job Summary
Our client, a leading technology and entertainment provider, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Identity and Access Management Engineering team. The Senior Software Engineer will implement applications and user interfaces for Identity and Access Management Engineering. This role will work with internal and external project constituents to establish and maintain UI/UX standards and best practices. The Senior Software Engineer will also be responsible for software architecture, debugging, code contributions, documentation, testing, security, accessibility, performance, and sustainability.
Contract Details
- Contract Type & Duration: Contract, 12 months
- Work Location: New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Burbank, CA; or Seattle, WA
- Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Core Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and deliver software user interface solutions according to requirements and specifications
- Work with Scrum Masters, architects, developers, quality and reliability engineers, and other project constituents
- Collaborate with engineering managers, staff engineers, and architects to follow and influence software development best practices
- Perform peer and vendor code reviews for compliance, security, performance, and best practices
- Develop user interface software using professional enterprise-class development tools
- Develop, enact, and enforce documentation, coding, process, and performance standards
- Build reusable UI components that are scalable, maintainable, and well documented
- Create prototypes to visually demonstrate how new features could be deployed
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of front-end development experience.
- 5+ years of formal, team-oriented development experience; Agile experience preferred
- Extensive experience developing dynamic web applications using and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of Single Page Applications and Responsive Web Design
- Cross-browser development experience with JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with UI libraries and frameworks, including modern web UI frameworks
- Demonstrable development experience using AngularJS and/or Node.js
- Strong knowledge of AWS environments and/or technologies such as S3, CloudFront, Fargate, EC2, and API Gateway
- Strong knowledge and experience securing front-end applications
- Expert proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/LESS, and JavaScript
- Deep familiarity with web standards and protocols including HTTP, HTML, REST, XML, and OAuth
- Experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience working in Agile software development
- Expertise with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or Business-related field, or equivalent validated work experience
- 5+ years of experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and Confluence
- 2+ years of experience working with Identity and Access Management systems
- Familiarity with sensitive data handling such as COPPA, PCI, PII, and Safe Harbor
- Understanding and exposure to backend development architecture including Java, Go, and .NET

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $51.00 and $73.25. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
