Job summary

KoobrikLabs is a creative technology partner delivering AI-enabled software for studios, agencies and creative organizations. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will design and build end-to-end AI-powered products for clients and internal platforms, spanning frontend, APIs, and data/infra concerns.

You’ll own substantial parts of the stack, work with AI specialists and clients, and solve ambiguous challenges.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent depth.
• Strong React/Next.js frontend capabilities.
• Backend development in Python and API design experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience including serverless or container services.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack web applications and AI-enabled product experiences.

• Develop and integrate Generative AI capabilities into real products.
• Work with LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, embeddings and agentic workflows.

Role Purpose

KoobrikLabs is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and build AI-enabled products for our clients and internal platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable working across the stack and operating when every requirement is not yet defined.

You’ll work closely with technical leadership, AI specialists, delivery teams and clients to turn complex workflows into intuitive, reliable software.

We’re looking for a strong software engineer first, with practical AI experience and enough AWS depth to help build and operate the infrastructure around these systems.

Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent depth of experience as React / Next.js
• Strong backend development experience, ideally including Python
• Experience designing APIs and modern service architectures
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in AWS
• Understanding of cloud architecture, security, authentication and permissions
• Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with evolving requirements
• Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

AI Experience

• LLM APIs and foundation models
• Embeddings and vector search
• Structured outputs and tool calling
• LLM evaluation and testing
• Agentic or multi-step AI workflows
• Prompt and context engineering
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Cognito or Bedrock
• Experience with secure enterprise applications, OAuth and role-based access control
• Experience with multimedia, documents or other unstructured data
• Experience working in consulting, agency, startup or forward-deployed engineering
• Experience working directly with clients
• Exposure to media, entertainment or creative-industry workflows
