Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance full stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.

Based in the United States, this remote role offers flexibility across time zones while maintaining strong engineering practices, CI/CD, code reviews, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality software.

• Extensive professional experience developing full stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern software development principles and application architecture.

Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript/AWS)

About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and enhancing modern full stack applications that deliver exceptional user experiences and drive business value. You will work closely with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future, including OPT, CPT, H1B or any other work authorization requiring employer sponsorship.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and enhance full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and scalable system designs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

Work model (Remote)

This role requires candidates to be based in the United States and available to collaborate across distributed teams and client schedules.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $10,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
