Job summary

Godshall Recruiting is seeking a senior software engineer in Greenville, SC to design, develop, and support scalable SaaS applications and APIs. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver features, leverage AI-powered tools, and help shape architecture for performance and growth.

The role requires 10+ years of Ruby on Rails experience, strong MySQL skills, and familiarity with cloud and container technologies such as Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Experience developing and supporting SaaS applications, APIs, and database-driven systems.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and software architecture principles.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, React Native, or similar technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software applications across multiple products and technologies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new features and platform enhancements.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.
• Create and maintain backend services, APIs, and user-facing integrations as business needs evolve.
• Participate in architecture decisions that support scalability, performance, and long-term product growth.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to development standards and best practices.
