Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a senior software engineer with deep C# and .NET experience to lead cross-platform development projects. You will design, implement, and maintain software for mobile (iOS/Android) and cloud-based services, and work with embedded firmware when needed.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 7 years in the field, with strong OOP, DI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, CS or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in C# and .NET.
• Experience with cross-platform iOS/Android development and cloud technologies, web apps/services, and embedded firmware including C#, .NET MAUI, Azure, Xamarin, Bluetooth, and JSON is a plus.
• Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git Flow, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with embedded software development is a plus.
• Passion for software development, teamwork, and working with electronics, engines, and control systems technology.
• Ability to work around watercraft without special accommodations required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in C# and .NET.
• Experience with cross-platform iOS and Android mobile development, and working with cloud technologies, web applications and services, and embedded firmware including C#, Microsoft suite (.NET MAUI, Azure, prior experience with Xamarin), Bluetooth, and JSON is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design patterns required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines, Git Flow, and general Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with embedded software development is a plus.
• A passion for software development, working in a team, and working with electronics, engines, and control systems technology.
• Ability to work in and around watercraft without special accommodations required.
• Creative ability with strong software aptitude.
