  • Develop scalable, maintainable software using C# and .NET across both internal business systems and customer‑facing applications.
  • Build and enhance message‑driven and distributed systems using patterns and frameworks such as NServiceBus, including asynchronous processing, command and event handling, sagas, durable workflows, and message handlers where appropriate.
  • Design for distributed system reliability, including retries, idempotency, deduplication, eventual consistency, observability, resiliency, dead‑letter handling, graceful failure handling, and recovery strategies.
  • Extend existing microservices and create new APIs, service endpoints, background processing components, data workflows, and integration services that improve business capability and operational efficiency.
  • Create and evolve data schemas, persistence models, service contracts, message contracts, and integration patterns across multiple storage and communication mechanisms.
  • Make pragmatic architecture and design decisions related to service boundaries, data flow, scalability, performance, maintainability, security, and operational simplicity.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated regression tests to ensure quality, stability, and confidence in delivered solutions.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks across application, service, infrastructure, data, and integration layers.
  • Take operational ownership of assigned systems and functional areas, including monitoring, support, root cause analysis, ongoing optimization, and long‑term stewardship.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead technical conversations effectively across teams and translate engineering considerations into business context.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, sound judgment, ownership mindset, and ability to operate effectively in a lean team where engineers are expected to be self‑directed, versatile, and highly accountable.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic architecture discussions and hands‑on implementation, debugging, testing, and production support.
  • High degree of adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to learn new frameworks, tools, business domains, and emerging technologies.
