Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields required.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in designing scalable and robust software architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and automated testing tools.
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, RAG, LLM prompt engineering, and Python for NL-to-SQL and AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong expertise in GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Firebase, Pub/Sub) with Node.js/TypeScript and Angular development.
  • Solid SQL/data modeling skills and mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Analyze project needs/requirements and recommend solutions to enable enterprise integration.
  • Develop and implement software solutions, standards, processes, and security.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA and other stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software applications through bug fixes and feature enhancements.
  • Attend vendor training/conferences for ongoing skills development.
  • Train and mentor team members and Covista technical resources as necessary.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies to improve development practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Job Description

  • Leadthedesignandimplementationofsoftwaresolutionsthatmeetbusinessrequirementsandtechnicalspecifications.
  • Analyzesprojectneeds/requirementsandrecommendssolutionstoenableenterpriseintegration.
  • Developsandimplementssoftwaresolutions,standards,processes,andsecurity.
  • Collaboratingwithproductmanagers,architects, QAandotherstakeholderstogatherandrefinesoftwarerequirementsanddevelopments.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $84,835.61 and $153,548.46. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
