Job summary

Priority Waste is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build integrations connecting core business systems, APIs, and Azure cloud services. Based at our headquarters in Clinton Township, MI, this hands-on role collaborates closely with leadership to replace manual workflows with scalable, monitored services.

You will develop internal tools, driver-facing Android apps, and customer-facing web applications, turning prototypes into production software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in production
• Fluency with AI agents and AI-assisted development
• Deep experience building on a major cloud platform; Azure preferred
• Experience designing, building, and consuming production APIs
• Comfort operating as the sole application engineer: you scope, build, ship, and operate
• Expert-level C#/.NET or Node/TypeScript, with React or a comparable front-end framework

Job Purpose

Priority Waste is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the applications and integrations that connect our business systems. This is a hands-on senior role reporting directly to the CTO, based on-site at our headquarters in Clinton Township, MI. You will split your time between integrating our core systems and building custom applications where the business needs them.
