Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Austin is seeking a Senior/Software Engineer to build desktop and cloud-based tools for Renesas microcontrollers. You will analyze requirements, create design documents, and implement source code.

You will develop test specifications, execute tests to ensure software quality, and provide technical support to customers, including training and documentation. The role requires collaboration with a team and a passion for well-architected, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript, Python and familiarity with Web front-end development and OO design patterns.
• Passion for writing well-architected readable code for easy maintenance by a team.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizing skills.
