Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring a Software Development Engineer for AWS Marketplace. You will own substantial portions of the product, shape features, and influence architecture.

The role covers front-end through platform services with an emphasis on quality software and operational excellence. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of non-internship software development, strong OO design, and experience with large-scale distributed systems built with C++, Java, C#, or Perl.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide technical expertise and insights.
• Identify and fix bugs and ensure high-quality software releases.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide project updates.
