Job summary

Audible is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the Consumer Domains group based in Newark, NJ. You will lead complex technical initiatives, mentor peers, and contribute to scalable API services across desktop and mobile experiences.

You will establish and promote engineering best practices, collaborate with Audible and Amazon teams, and help shape the technology that powers our global listener base. This role offers growth in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This opportunity is for a Senior Software Development Engineer for Audible’s Consumer Domains group. We are the team that creates and powers Audible’s applications, components and services for our global listeners across Audible and Amazon web. We are the home for tech talent that wants to grow Audible’s market leading business and build the sites and services (APIs) across desktop and mobile devices. The team is comprised of developers who work in an agile environment and partner closely with Audible and Amazon tech teams, Product, UX and QA teams. This role is based in Newark, NJ.

Basic Qualifications
