Job description

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an outstanding Web or Full stack engineer for Adobe’s Firefly Boards team in Firefly, a Generative AI org. You will be part of a team of engineers working closely with other engineering teams on building, scaling, and securing the Firefly Boards product. You will contribute to building innovative user experiences for creative solutions by using the power of multi‑modal LLMs from Adobe and its partners.

Firefly Boards is an AI‑powered mood‑boarding and ideation app that provides a non‑linear infinite canvas. It enables a new generation of creatives to embrace generative AI and those who find the linear workflows of legacy software restrictive. Images and videos can be imported or generated using AI models and edited, remixed, iterated on, and organized flexibly, making it easier for artists to visualize and develop ideas on their own or in collaboration.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of product experience developing applications (web apps preferred)
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and HTML
  • Experience with Declarative UI libraries such as React.js, Lit, Vue.js
  • Experience creating web apps
  • Experience executing complex project design and development
  • Experience creating and maintaining testable code
  • Dedication to writing clean code and creating reusable components
  • Passion for learning, sharing new ideas, and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to challenges
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building image, video and/or multimedia apps
  • Experience with creating user experiences for LLMs
  • Experience with development tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, lint, etc.
  • Experience with improving performance and stability of the apps
  • Experience with Accessibility (A11y)
  • Experience with Localization
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
Compensation

The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,600 – $286,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and job‑related knowledge, skills and experience.
