Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking an experienced software engineer to help design, build, and scale backend services used by leading asset managers and custodians. You will participate in Agile processes, own critical pipelines, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Mentoring junior engineers and delivering robust software are key expectations. Applicants should have 7+ years in software development, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with Java/Python, cloud platforms, and messaging

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented or functional programming languages (Java/Python).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and SDLC/Agile expertise.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and messaging systems (Kafka/SQS/SNS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality software used by major technology firms and financial clients.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to roadmaps.
  • Own critical, highly available, and scalable processes.
  • Lead design and architecture decisions; mentor junior engineers.
  • Write and review code, tests, and documentation; ensure maintainability.
