ACKtive Engineering Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work on complex systems and network devices for a critical U.S. government customer.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and hands-on expertise in C programming, reverse engineering, and network devices, with extensive experience across embedded platforms and RTOS environments. The position is on-site in the DC/MD/VA area with a strong emphasis on collaboration with senior engineers and SMEs, ongoing learning,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in reverse engineering, C programming and network devices.
• Experience supporting development or analysis of mobile devices.
• Familiarity with low-level platforms, embedded systems and firmware analysis.
• Experience working in a Real Time Operating System environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance capabilities that directly support a U.S. government customer.
• Work onsite, fully integrated with the customer’s team, collaborating daily with subject matter experts and senior engineers.
• Continuously learn, experiment, and grow while sharpening your technical toolkit in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Analyze complex systems and networked devices; discover novel solutions to challenging technical and operational problems; implement high-quality, reliable capabilities.
