Senior Software Developer (Python, AI) - 4 months - 100% Remote - Start ASAP

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced Software Developer (Python, AI) to support the rework and optimization of an existing AI solution architecture. Your main task will be to review the current architecture, identify improvement opportunities and provide hands‑on technical guidance to build scalable, maintainable AI backend solutions. Experience in Python development and long‑term AI project experience incl. Azure Cloud Service experience is a must.

Tasks

• Review and improve existing AI solution architecture and backend services
• Provide technical guidance for AI solution
• Challenge existing design decisions
• Best practice AI advise
• Refactor existing code and reduce technical debt
• Design scalable, maintainable and high-performance backend architectures
• Integrate AI tool into different user facing platforms
• Support the development of AI-enabled backend services, including LLM- and RAG-based solutions
• Support the operationalization of AI services, including deployment, monitoring and scalability

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience
• Strong project experience as lead developer/best practice advisor
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing AI solutions
• Experience with AI Ops / DevOps and operating AI-enabled services
• Strong project experience with Azure Cloud Service
• Project experience with containerized applications, authentication, monitoring and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, APIs and AI orchestration layers
• Good knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, JavaScript
• Preferred: Experience with Terraform
• Fluency in English
