Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer Senior to support mission-critical government projects for the SOCOM program at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on website and application development and ongoing maintenance.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in OO programming, web development, and SQL Server, and must be able to work independently and within a team while delivering quality software through the full life cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in object-oriented programming languages and relational databases.
• 3+ years of web development (.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Node.js).
• Experience with IIS and Apache web servers.
• Experience creating Web APIs / Web services.
• MVC/MVVM architecture experience.
• Strong SQL Server, C#, and JavaScript UI/UX knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain website and application components for the SOCOM program.
• Collaborate with technical leads and engineers on related deliverables.
• Analyze requirements, design, code, test, and debug software.
• Ensure quality and adherence to software development lifecycle.
