Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Software Developer, Senior to design, implement, test, and lead high-level applications for the system. You will work with users to define requirements, architecture, and release documentation, guiding development teams through the full lifecycle.

The role requires strong C#/.NET skills, full stack capability, and experience with Windows Forms and services. Healthcare standards knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven knowledge of C# and .NET technologies.
• Full stack experience; React JS experience strongly preferred.
• XML/XSLT and SQL Server/T-SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Windows forms/services.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, databases designs, and performs maintenance to ensure system compatibility.
• Ensures appropriate integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment.
• Trains and assists in the development of personnel, encouraging cross-training to build team skills.
• Establishes technical standards and guidelines for effective programming.
• Verifies documentation and keeps user manuals current.
• Collaborates with Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plans, and release docs.
• Conceives and presents architectural approaches for software applications.
