Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 for a hybrid contract role in Austin, TX. The developer will design, build, test, and maintain business applications, collaborating with UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database expertise, plus solid experience in Agile methodologies and robust debugging and testing skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in complex business systems.
• Strong experience with Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle DB.
• Experience with coding, testing, debugging, and enhancements.
• Strong software architecture and development concepts understanding.
• Able to analyze requirements and design effective solutions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security practices and coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain complex software applications.
• Develop applications using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
• Write and maintain programs, stored procedures, triggers, scripts, classes, and other software components.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Create test data and test scripts and analyze test results.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement performance and functionality enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Follow established programming, documentation, testing, and security standards.
• Work with business and systems analysts to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Develop solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical and application documentation.
