Job summary

The Josef Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Tysons, VA. The candidate will lead full lifecycle development of web, video and multimedia training products, including analysis, design, development, deployment and maintenance.

Strong AWS security, Linux, and web stack experience are essential. Ten years of software experience and a TS/SCI clearance are required, with expertise in Java, PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/CIIS/CE; 10+ years software development experience.
• Strong AWS infrastructure security and access controls expertise.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and web tech stack (Java, PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with IAM governance, RBAC, PAM tools, and Scripting (Bash).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and document best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development: analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain.
• Research and program interfaces for web/video/multimedia training products.
• Develop and test software, ensure quality control and documentation.
• Collaborate on SharePoint, web sites, and related multimedia assets.

Job description

Senior Software Developer

TS/SCI and FSP Required

Tysons, VA

$200K to $250K

The developer, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, will support the full lifecycle development (analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain) of innovative and interactive web, videoand multimedia training products. The individual will be responsible for product research, programming/authoring, interface design, testingand quality control. Products also include web-based training, SharePoint and websites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.

The ideal candidate requires demonstrated experience with:

• Linux
• Amazoncloud, AWS and use services, like S3 and EC2
• ApacheWebserver and Apache Tomcat
• Developmentlanguages: Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQLand Javascript
• VSCode
• Configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Enterprise Application Auditing Tool, Enterprise Application MFA Solution (OAuth), and RBAC (Role Based Access Control)
• BashScripting
• Developingand supporting automation and orchestration processes for IAM services. Understanding of IAM governance frameworks, platforms, RBAC, group policy management, and privileged access management (PAM) tolls.

• Abachelor’s degree in computer science, Compute Information Systems, or Computer Engineering with ten (10) years of experience executing software development activities.
