Job summary

VTG Defense in Northern Virginia is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications for our government customer. You will contribute to scalable, secure solutions across the full stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes modern Node.js back-ends, front-end work, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure), and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development.
• Bachelor's Degree related to specific skill from an accredited college or university
• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Proven expertise in developing applications using Node.js, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience in backend development, including designing and implementing robust APIs.
• Practical experience deploying applications in cloud-based environments, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, and containerization/orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
