Job summary

We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Software Developer with strong data-driven application development experience to support the build-out of AWS-based data platforms. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines that move data from source systems into a newly established AWS data lake environment for consumption by analytics teams.

Required Experience:

• 6-12 years of experience in Software Development
• Strong programming experience with Java and Python
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines
• Hands-on experience working with big data environments
• Strong AWS experience, specifically:
• Amazon ECS
• Amazon EMR
• Experience moving data from source systems to destination platforms within AWS environments
• Experience building and supporting data platforms in AWS

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest and move data across AWS platforms
• Support the implementation of a new AWS data lake environment
• Move and integrate data from various source systems into the AWS ecosystem
• Build data infrastructure that enables downstream reporting and analytics use cases
• Ensure data is available and accessible for analytics teams to utilize

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Apache Kafka
