Job summary
Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the AEC Platform Data team. You will build services powering data infrastructure for Autodesk’s products, enabling scalable, secure cloud solutions.
You will partner with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver incremental improvements and maintain high-quality code through automated tests, with on-call rotation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
- 4+ years of software development experience building enterprise level cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and microservices.
- Experience with AWS services and technologies (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET).
- Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS including SOC-2.
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing processes to ensure code quality.
- Experience in monitoring backend performance and optimizing system scalability.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
