Job summary

Kardex is seeking a Software Project Manager in Cincinnati to lead the software scope of automation projects from handover to acceptance. You will build the software schedule, coordinate Solution Architects and Software Implementation Engineers, and ensure on-time delivery aligned with the DOO and sold scope.

Travel ~25% is expected; you will manage customer communications, risks, changes, and ensure successful go-lives with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience considered.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the software scope of Kardex automation projects from handover to final acceptance.
• Direct the activities of Solution Architects and Software Implementation Engineers, setting deliverable dates.
• Identify scope changes early and initiate the change order process before work is performed.
• Surface risks early and escalate when not resolved.
