Masimo Medical Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Irvine, CA seeks a Sr Engineer, Software Automation to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for on-premises server–client apps, mobile platforms, and cloud services, ensuring quality, security, and performance.

The role collaborates across engineering, QA, DevOps, and security to validate complex systems, build robust test environments, and drive CI/CD integration while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and systems (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S).
• Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Hands-on experience testing cloud applications and APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure coding/testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for on-premises apps, mobile platforms, and cloud services/APIs.
• Execute and analyze manual and automated test cases; troubleshoot issues using results and logs.
• Validate system behavior in secure networking environments; ensure cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and security teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Build and manage complex test environments including physical infra, mobile devices, and cloud components.
• Identify and report potential security vulnerabilities with internal security teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into development workflows.
• Document test strategies, results, and quality improvement recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous learning.
