Job summary

High Side Technology LLC. seeks a senior-level architect to design, integrate, deploy, and optimize cloud-native analytics and AI/ML capabilities for national security and IC customers. You will lead architecture of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems across enterprise and edge environments.

The role requires DoD/IC experience, strong leadership, and the ability to translate mission needs into scalable, secure software architectures. Interaction with government stakeholders is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or related STEM field.
• Senior- or expert-level experience designing and implementing software architectures and enterprise applications in government or industry environments.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications and distributed systems using modern service-oriented, microservices, event-driven, or API-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including architecture and integration of cloud compute, storage, networking, security, and application services.
• Experience operating within secure cloud and software environments subject to DoD, Intelligence Community, or other government security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software architectures for advanced analytics and mission-critical operational capabilities.
• Lead architecture, integration, and deployment of applications, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Define scalable, modular, interoperable, secure architectures across enterprise and edge environments.
• Provide technical leadership for modernization of legacy apps toward cloud-native, service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, and government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into executable software architectures.
• Establish architecture patterns, standards, interfaces, and reusable components for interoperability across missions.
