Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead supply chain technology across demand planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics. The role blends technical strategy, architecture, governance, and hands-on execution within an Agile Fusion Team at our home office in Green Bay, WI.

The position features a hybrid schedule with onsite and remote work. The candidate will mentor engineers, design end-to-end supply chain solutions, and partner with data science

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven domain experience supporting or developing supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP).
• Demonstrated supply chain functional expertise across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to domain expert on supply chain business processes and documentation across demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing logistics.
• Design systems that increase operational visibility across inventory tracking, raw material procurement, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to integrate operational data into analytics and AI/ML workflows.
• Interface with external vendors and internal systems to address defects, upgrades, and integration efforts.
• Initiate and drive technical strategies for supply chain systems and roadmaps.
• Govern software engineering standards and participate in architecture reviews.
