Job Title: Senior AS400 RPG Developer / WMS Technical Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AS400 RPG Developer / WMS Technical Analyst to support and enhance mission-critical warehouse management and parts distribution applications. This role requires strong hands-on RPG IV/RPGLE programming expertise on the IBM i (AS400) platform, along with experience in application support, troubleshooting, system integrations, and legacy application enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting warehouse management, inventory, logistics, or distribution applications. This is a hands-on RPG development role, not a traditional functional Business Analyst position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, test, and implement applications using RPG IV/RPGLE and CL/CLLE.


• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex application, database, and integration issues.


• Support AS400-based warehouse management and parts distribution systems.


• Work with AS400 databases, files, journals, and transaction processing.


• Support integrations involving MQ messaging, FTP, RF devices, and warehouse peripherals.


• Develop technical specifications and documentation based on business and technical requirements.


• Perform unit, integration, system, and UAT testing.


• Support Aldon Change Management, deployment processes, and SOX compliance requirements.


• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver application enhancements and maintain system reliability.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM i / AS400.

• Experience with warehouse application modernization.
