Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs HUD-VASH program seeks a Senior Social Worker (GS-12) to provide advanced practice social work services in a veteran housing program. Qualifications

• Must have master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Two years of post-advanced practice clinical licensure experience required (one year at GS-11 level).
• Licensure/certification at advanced practice level required; ability to supervise for licensure.
• Expert in a specialized area of social work with advanced practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized psychosocial assessment, treatment, and case management.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling/psychotherapy.
• Offer consultation to colleagues and students within the service delivery area.
• Develop and implement methods to measure outcomes and effectiveness of social work services.
• Provide supervision for licensure and contribute to practice guidelines.
