Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Memphis VA Medical Center seeks a licensed MSW social worker for the PCMHI program.

The incumbent will provide a full range of psychosocial assessments in primary care, deliver evidence-based therapies, and coordinate care for veterans with complex psychosocial needs. Requirements include a master’s degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program, state licensure at advanced level, English proficiency, and eligibility for EDRP.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensure as a social worker at the advanced practice level.
• Ability to provide individual, group, and family counseling or psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of psychosocial assessment services in primary care environments.
• Deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions (EBP) including CBT and other modalities as indicated.
• Coordinate care and provide consultation across the treatment team to Veterans in PCMHI.
