Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensure/certification by a state to independently practice social work at the MSW level.
• Experience in crisis intervention, care coordination, discharge planning, and evidence-based psychosocial interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and clinical care in the Emergency Department.
• Lead programming, coordinate care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the Suicide Prevention Initiative (SPED) and related data reporting.
• Conduct discharge planning and linkage to VA/non-VA services for Veterans.
• Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics and supervise/mentor staff as assigned.
• Work a 50/50 schedule: PES on weekends and IPU on Mondays/Fridays.
