Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead the Security Operations Team in Washington, DC. You will own the SOC strategy and ensure successful delivery by improving staff expertise and optimizing the security tool portfolio.

The role requires onsite presence four days per week and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Business from a U.S. accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience managing a business-hours SOC for 2,000+ users.
• Experience in data collection, detection, triage, investigation, and incident response.
• Experience creating and implementing incident detection, response, and escalation processes.

• Own the success of the Security Operations Team and deliver on its strategy.
• Lead and improve security tool deployment and usage across the team.
• Assess incident reports, coordinate response efforts, and ensure effective handling.
