Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior SoC Debug Engineer to join the Silicon Validation team.

This role focuses on bring up, debug, and analysis of failures at the embedded platform level across pre-Si and post-Si phases, collaborating with architects, designers, verification and software engineers. You will develop debug strategies, implement solutions for faster debugging, and guide partners to triage issues including PVT and marginality concerns.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience with pre-si and post-silicon enabling, bring-up, analyze failures at the embedded platform level.
• RTL inspection and understanding of basic RTL.
• Gen AI knowledge and experience for automating the Debug flow.
• Debugging low level software and hardware issues.

General Summary: Qualcomm's Silicon Validation team is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization responsible for the overall quality of the SoC silicon. The validation team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Senior SoC Debug Engineer.

In this role, the candidate will support three critical roles:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering Preferred:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$121,800.00 - $182,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
