Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks an exceptional SoC Architect to lead the architecture definition of next‑gen SoCs spanning AI, Data Center, Security, and Embedded Computing.

You will define the overall SoC architecture and drive system‑level innovation across heterogeneous compute, memory, I/O, interconnects, and accelerators. You will influence silicon strategy, collaborate with partners and customers, and guide teams across architecture, design, verification, and software.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Proven track record delivering architecture for complex heterogeneous SoCs in advanced nodes.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of next‑gen SoCs, including multi‑processor subsystems and accelerators.
• Define long‑term architectural strategy aligned with product roadmap and customer requirements.
• Draft clear SoC architecture specifications for compute, memory, interconnect and accelerators.
• Guide RTL design, verification, physical design, firmware, software, and platform teams.
