Job summary

The Timberline Group seeks a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to advance enterprise reporting, analytics, and cloud data platform initiatives. You will design, develop, test, document, and support Snowflake-based data solutions and Power BI assets while collaborating with business stakeholders to capture requirements.

You will play a key technical role within Data & Analytics, evolving into a core resource for data platform responsibilities and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Analytics or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in BI, analytics, data engineering, or data warehousing.
• 3+ years Snowflake development experience.
• 3+ years Power BI development experience.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience designing dimensional data models and scalable reporting solutions.
• Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT solutions.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and work with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate independently and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand operational and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, test, document, and support Snowflake data solutions.
• Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes with modern data tools.
• Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports and dataflows.
• Participate in architecture reviews and governance practices.
• Ensure data quality, security, and documentation standards.
