Job summary

Experient is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our development team. This role is hands-on, building, enhancing, and supporting high-volume data pipelines that process business-critical order transaction data for our clients.

You will design ELT/ETL pipelines with Snowflake, dbt, and orchestration tools; model data with star and snowflake schemas; optimize SQL for performance; and integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, GCP, and third-party tools such as Power BI.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering with Snowflake.
• Extensive Snowflake experience.
• Snowflake certifications required.
• Must have hands on experience and execute the tactical work.
• Experienced in thought leadership, defining future state architecture, setting tech design principles, aligning the team on technical direction.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex (their AI tooling).
• Extensive DBT experience.
• Python and Apache Airflow are preferred.
• Advanced SQL and Snowflake SQL.
• ETL with dbt and orchestration.
• Cloud platform proficiency.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data visualization tools (Power BI, QlikSense, Superset).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
