Job summary

SaasWorx is seeking a Data Architect – Snowflake to design and deliver modern cloud data platforms for enterprise clients. You will lead discovery workshops, mentor engineers, and coordinate across onshore/offshore teams to ensure successful project execution.

The role requires strong consulting and architecture skills, with deep Snowflake expertise and experience in data modernization initiatives across North American clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering with 3+ years in Data Architecture and Snowflake.
• Hands-on Snowflake architecture, administration, performance tuning.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale data modernization and cloud transformations.
• Experience managing client-facing engagements and offshore teams.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Snowflake domain expert; advise on architecture, governance, performance.
• Lead discovery workshops and assessments; capture business objectives.
• Design scalable Snowflake platforms for analytics, reporting, AI, operations.
• Develop data models, metadata frameworks, ERDs and data dictionaries.
• Architect and optimize Snowflake warehouses, marts, ingestion frameworks.
• Design ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowpipe, dbt, Fivetran, MuleSoft, Python, Spark.
• Implement and optimize Snowflake features including clustering, time travel, RBAC.
• Ensure security, governance, scalability, reliability, and performance.
