Job summary

Artifintech in Chicago is seeking a senior data engineer to design and implement AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI, CoCO, and related tools. You will build real-time integrations, RAG, vector search, and enterprise AI applications while shaping scalable data platforms.

You will lead architecture reviews, PoCs, and deployments, mentor teams, and develop reusable accelerators and best practices to accelerate customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platforms.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, security, governance, and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Cortex AI, Coco, CoCO Desktop, Snow park, and AI/ML integration patterns.
• Experience building LLM, RAG, vector search, and agentic AI solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong customer-facing communication and solution architecture skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI, CoCO, and CoCO Desktop.
• Develop and deploy RAG, agentic workflows, semantic layers, and enterprise AI applications.
• Architect scalable data platforms leveraging Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, dbt, and cloud-native services.
• Build robust ELT/ETL pipelines and real-time integrations.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, PoCs, and production deployments.
• Develop reusable accelerators and best practices.
