Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in electronics/electrical/mechatronics/automation or related field.
• 5+ years in SMT equipment maintenance and automation systems.
• Proven experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing environments.
• Experience with automated assembly equipment and industrial controls.
• SMT equipment experience with SMT Equipment, Screen Printers, Inspection Systems, AOI Equipment, Reflow Ovens.
• Experience in automation & controls such as PLC programming and troubleshooting, Servo systems, robotics, machine vision systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras, vibration analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and improve SMT and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and robotic systems.
• Minimize downtime with rapid response and effective problem resolution.
• Maintain equipment per OEM specs and maintenance schedules.
• Support PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Lead TPM initiatives and Kaizen/Lean projects.
• Improve OEE metrics and recommend upgrades.
• Develop SOPs and maintenance instructions.
• Train operators and junior technicians on operation and troubleshooting.
