Job summary

GA-Intelligence in Colorado (Aurora) is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to manage and improve production and non-production environments. You will automate deployments, monitor systems, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while enforcing security and configuration management best practices.

Ideal candidates hold a CS/IS degree with multiple years of deployment experience, strong Kubernetes know-how, Grafana dashboards, and familiarity with AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, master, or PhD in CS/IS or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience with deployment technologies like Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with metrics monitoring and dashboards (Grafana).
• Understanding of user access practices and security controls.
• OS administration in various environments and strong config mgmt knowledge.
• Proficient SDLC understanding and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team or alone.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain development, testing, and production environments.
• Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to maximize efficiency.
• Apply industry best practices for system hardening and config management.
• Develop tools for operational administration, backups, DR, and monitoring.
• Evaluate systems against standards and suggest improvements.
• Develop and maintain deployment and ops platform tools and microservices.
• Test system integrity and implement design improvements.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, and updates.
• Work with open-source tech as needed.
• Utilize CI/CD tools and source control (Git, SVN).
• Provide technical support and develop back-end software as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and identify areas to improve.
