Overview

Job title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Celebration, FL 34747 (Hybrid)

Onsite at least 1x per week; Tuesday; subject to change

Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Responsibilities

• The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design, develop, and sustain high-quality processes and automation to address engineering gaps and growth.
• Using an “integration before invention” strategy, the Lead Software Engineer will seek to understand points of failure in our guest experiences, and work to deliver the best possible tooling for our Application & Operations teams to improve efficiency, prevent problems before they happen, and quickly resolve “unmagical technology moments” for our Guests, Cast Members, and Crew Members.
• Drive a DevOps culture among peers and developers.
• Design, build, and support of products platforms.
• Consult, design, build, and support development pipelines, automate infrastructure and operations, create telemetry for monitoring, engineer high reliability and reinforce best- practices to secure company data.
• Strong systems administration skills on Windows, Linux Cloud, and must have extensive experience with web technologies, source control management using git and modern CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab-CI, and Harness.
• Bring knowledge on systems, network, operational excellence and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, operational excellence and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as documentation.
• You will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools like Gitlab-CI, Harness, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in configuration management tools: Ansible and Group Policy.
• Experience in procedural programming languages (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell).
• Skilled in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Capable of identifying root causes in large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security.
• Leading technical projects and ensuring smooth delivery.
• Collaborative work with Security Operations teams for secure solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, network, and code.
• Proficiency in Automation and Visibility Instrumentation, with a proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies.

• Experience integrating with commercial and open-source monitoring and telemetry platforms.
