Job summary

Guernsey in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate permitting, and manage scope, schedule, and budget while delivering high-quality civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Local project leadership and client coordination are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years progressive civil engineering experience.
• Land/site development and municipal infrastructure experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
• Stormwater management design experience.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of site development projects.
• Prepare grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, and stormwater designs.
• Develop construction documents, reports, specifications, and estimates.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff.
• Support proposals and business development.
• Conduct field visits as required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of site development projects.

What You Bring To The Team

Essential Physical Functions

• Sit/stand at a desk or computer


• Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites


• Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.


• Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings


• Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods


• Some project-based travel may be required
