• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field or equivalent combination with 4+ years CRO/pharma experience.
• 7+ years of experience in CRO/pharma focusing on start-up, PM, or site management.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager (US/CANADA) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will oversee study start-up and site activation execution for clinical research programs across the US and Canada. You will drive cross-functional coordination to keep activation milestones on track, manage risk, and ensure budget and timeline discipline. The position also supports global collaboration, process improvement, and mentorship while contributing to the successful launch of important clinical trials.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,000 – $213,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start-up and site activation activities for assigned projects
• Drive collaboration to ensure site activation milestones are met on time and within budget
• Analyze site activation metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans
• Partner with project teams to expedite site qualification and regulatory activities
• Communicate project status, timelines, and risks to stakeholders
• Ensure accurate tracking and budgeting of site activation activities
• Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives related to site activation
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers and support process improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field or a two-year degree plus four years of clinical research experience
• Seven or more years of experience in CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry, focusing on start-up management, project management, or site management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Thorough understanding of site activation processes and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU Clinical Trials Directives
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage risks effectively
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience in global teams
