Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking an experienced professional in Mountain View, CA, to develop custom silicon solutions that power consumer products. With a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in silicon validation frameworks, applicants will plan, develop, and execute tests to validate hardware designs. Responsibilities include interfacing with Software and Design teams as well as supporting silicon debug. The US base salary is between $163,000 and $237,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience developing stress tests or silicon validation frameworks.
• Experience with Power management IC validation.
• Proficiency in Hardware/Software interface.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute tests to validate hardware IP blocks.
• Validate design on pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.
• Interface with teams to create test plans.

Skills

Programming in C/C++/Assembly

Scripting in Python/Perl/Tcl

Bench level validation and debug

Experience with lab equipment

Complex system debug

Embedded operating systems

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
