Job summary

The role emphasizes scripting and programming in C/C++, x86 assembly, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and close interaction with RTL, DFT, and manufacturing teams to ensure feature testability and performance.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE, CS, CSE (or similar) preferred.
• Strong validation experience in microprocessors/ASIC hardware.
• Proficiency in x86 assembly, C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python.
• Knowledge of Verilog HDL and SystemVerilog.
• Solid understanding of modern computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work in a silicon lab solving challenging problems.
• Set up hardware systems for at-speed testing and debug.
• Develop, run, and debug x86 software to validate processor functionality.
• Coordinate with RTL, DFT, Implementation teams and manufacturing.
• Solve design/tool problems with innovative approaches.
• Create technical presentations for peers and management.
